Subject and title[]
Because of his love of TV animation, Scott decided to do a little research and create a series of drawings for each year, depicting some of the TV cartoon characters that debuted those particular years. The characters depicted here debuted in 1971. They are Mudsy (The Funky Phantom), Jermaine, Marlon, Jackie, Michael, Tito (Jackson 5ive), and Hair Bear (Help!... It's the Hair Bear Bunch).

Scott started out with pencil sketches, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawings and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
