History[]
Scott completed the piece on December 20, 2023. It was posted to his DeviantART and Instagram pages that same day. A few of the original pencil sketches were posted to his Patreon on December 26, and more were posted a couple weeks later, on January 9, 2024.
Subject and title[]
Because of his love of TV animation, Scott decided to do a little research and create a series of drawings for each year, depicting some of the TV cartoon characters that debuted those particular years. The characters depicted here debuted in 1968. They are Erica Lane and Jonathan Kidd (Fantastic Voyage), Archie (The Archie Show), Prince Turhan (The Banana Splits Adventure Hour), Dick Dastardly and Muttley (Wacky Races), Batman (The Batman/Superman Hour), and Tagg and Gary Gulliver (The Adventures of Gulliver).

Scott started out with pencil sketches, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawings and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
