Subject and title[edit | edit source]

Because of his love of TV animation, Scott decided to do a little research and create a series of drawings for each year, depicting some of the TV cartoon characters that debuted those particular years. The characters depicted here debuted in 1960. They are King Leonardo (King Leonardo and His Short Subjects), Hokey Wolf (The Huckleberry Hound Show), Fred Flintstone (The Flintstones), Dudley Do-Right (Rocky and His Friends), Popeye (Popeye the Sailor), Courageous Cat (Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse), Pinocchio (The New Adventures of Pinocchio), Mister Magoo (Mister Magoo), Tooter Turtle (King Leonardo and His Short Subjects), one of the Nutty Squirrels (The Nutty Squirrels Present), and Q.T. Hush (Q.T. Hush).

Media[edit | edit source]

Scott started out with pencil sketches, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawings and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
