Subject and title
This is a drawing in tribute to the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. 2, a game for the original Nintendo Entertainment System that was released in North America in October 1988. Scott considers it to be one of the greatest Mario games.

Scott started out with pencil drawings, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawings to work on them digitally in Paint Shop Pro.
