History[]
Scott completed the piece on March 14, 2023, the day of the "NHL Big City Greens Classic" hockey game. He uploaded it to his DeviantART page the next day. On March 19, a work-in-progress image was posted to his Patreon.

This is a drawing of retired hockey player Kevin Weekes and Disney's Big City Greens character Cricket Green doing an interview. Below is the description Scott gave on his DeviantArt page:
I drew this the night of the "NHL Big City Greens Classic". Kevin Weekes interviewing Cricket Green.
Using motion-capture technology, the Caps/Rangers hockey game was recreated in animation in real time. The in-game animation didn't look all that great. It looked like a video game from the '90s. (Anyone remember Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey?) But I loved seeing the analysts animated with mo-cap. Who doesn't like Weekesy? I really wanted to draw his Big City Greens likeness.
(For those that don't know, Kevin Weekes is a retired pro NHL hockey player who now works as an analyst.)

Scott started out with a pencil drawing, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing to work on it digitally in Paint Shop Pro.
