Scott completed the piece on January 4, 2020. He uploaded it to his DeviantART page on January 10th. A few months later, on April 19, it was posted to his ArtStation page. On March 28, 2021 it was posted to his Instagram page. It was posted to his Cara page August 27, 2024.
Subject and title[]
Scott's former co-worker Sonja Ellis commissioned the piece. It is a portrait of her grandson Max Ellis, a Notre Dame college hockey player. Scott used a photo she provided as reference.
