Scott completed the piece on March 6, 2019 and uploaded it to his DeviantART page the same day. It was done as an entry in a contest on DeviantART.
Subject and title[]
This is an entry in the "March of Mice" contest at the Disney-club at DeviantART. The purpose of the contest was to draw Disney mouse or rat characters. Scott chose to draw Eurasia Toft. Following is the description Scott listed on the artwork's DeviantART page:
For the contest, we are supposed to draw canon Disney mice or rats. So, I've drawn the more obscure and little-known canon mouse character Eurasia Toft. She was created by an Italian artist about 15 years ago. She's an adventurer and explorer (similar to Lara Croft and Indiana Jones) who, as of yet, has only appeared in Disney comics alongside Mickey and Goofy. It was only a few years ago that she was brought overseas and appeared in American comics. In this piece, I've drawn her discovering a lost relic in some forgotten mountain ruins.
