Scott completed the piece on December 26, 2013 and posted it to his Facebook and DeviantART pages that same day.
Subject and title[]
The characters depicted in the piece are all Disney Princesses, but Scott drew them to look like "ice girls" from hockey. (An ice girl is hockey's equivalent to a cheerleader.) The characters, left to right, are Pocahontas, Cinderella, Tiana, Aurora, Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, Ariel, Belle, and Rapunzel.
Scott originally had the idea to put them all in the same uniform, donning the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim colors and crest (since that National Hockey League team was owned by Disney). But he thought it would be more interesting to give them their own uniforms that match their actual wardrobe from the films.

Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and colored it digitally in Paint Shop Pro.
