History[]
Scott completed the piece on December 7, 2019. He uploaded it to his DeviantART page the next day.
Subject and title[]
Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)
In this issue, the story would be:
...the aftermath of the battle with Lavos. After defeating Lavos and finally saving not only the world but also time itself, the team (Crono, Marle, Lucca, Frog, Robo, Ayla, and even Magus) deserve a much needed break. In 1000 AD, the kingdom is getting ready for the Moonlight Parade in celebration of the teams victory. But there's a mishap with the balloons causing Crono and Marle to be whisked away under the stars.

Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
