Scott completed the piece on November 12, 2018. He uploaded it to his DeviantART page the next day.
Subject and title[]
Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)
In this issue, the story would be:
...the quest to bring Crono back to life. Having reacquired the Epoch and recruited Magus, the team receives the Time Egg (also known as the "Chrono Trigger") from the Guru at the End of Time. They then win the "Crono Clone" doll at the Millennial Fair then venture up to the summit of Death Peak. And through science and sorcery, they successfully revive Crono.

Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
