Subject and title[]
Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)
In this issue, the story would be:
...after Crono is killed by Lavos. Lavos' power then destroys the floating Kingdom of Zeal which falls from the sky and causes a tidal wave. Most of the land is underwater and most of the population is wiped out...

Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
