Subject and title[]
Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)
In this issue, the story would be:
This fourth issue would be the beginning of "the Queen is gone" happenings. Having arrived at Guardia Castle, the Queen seems immature and overly nice to Crono, allowing him to roam free around the castle. Upon meeting with her privately, Queen Leene reveals herself to be Marle in disguise. While the two are talking, Marle mysteriously vanishes into thin air...
Media[]
Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
