Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)

This third issue would be the first events in 600 A.D. Having followed Marle into the Telepod, Crono finds himself in a totally different world with strange creatures. Working his way through Truce Canyon and into Truce, he discovers he's traveled 400 years in the past! The villagers talk about the Queen's return, so Crono decides to go to Guardia Castle to investigate...

Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
