Scott completed the piece on November 19, 2015. He uploaded it to his DeviantART page the same day.
Subject and title[]
Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)
In this issue, the story would be:
This 11th issue would be the happenings in Arris Dome. Crono, Marle and Lucca defeat the Guardian and Bits, then find the computer to discover that the entity called Lavos destroyed the planet and civilization back in 1999.

Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
