Subject and title[]
Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)
In this issue, the story would be:
This first issue kicks things off. It begins with Crono's mom waking him up, "Crono. Crono! Good morning, Crono." She then proceeds to tell him that whoever hears Leene's Bell ring will go on to lead interesting lives. Crono gets up, pets the cat, collects his allowance, and goes to practice his swordplay at the Mayor's Manor. Crono then heads to Lucca's house where her crippled mother tells Crono she's gone to the Millennial Fair to unveil her telepod invention. So Crono sets out for the Fair. Little does he know that adventure awaits...
Media[]
Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
