The Academy of Art University is the largest private art school in the United States. It was founded in San Francisco, California in 1929.

W. Scott Pattullo is an alumnus from the Academy of Art. He attended the school from Fall 2002 through Fall 2007 and was part of the commencement in Spring 2008. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Visual Effects. Since he is a graduate and alumnus from the school, an article for it exists here on this wiki.

Instructors[]

Many of the instructors Scott had at the Academy were professionals who had experience in the animation industry. A few notable instructors are listed below.

  • Sherrie Sinclair - Sherrie Sinclair was the head of the animation department at the Academy when Scott was enrolled. She had previously worked in Disney's animation studio and worked on such films as The Lion King, Pocahontas and Lilo & Stitch.
  • Mohammed Allababidi - Mohammed Allababidi was an instructor Scott had in numerous 3D animation courses. Mohammed had previously done work in the gaming industry working on such video games as The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers by Electronic Arts.
  • Shaun Featherstone - Shaun Featherstone was an instructor Scott had for many of his traditional 2D animation classes. Scott worked with him during his final semester to help fine-tune his skills. Scott gave Shaun a "special thanks" credit in his Two Arguing Bounty Hunters animation.
