History
Scott completed the piece in Summer 2013 and used it as his profile picture on his personal Facebook page (separate from his more professional one).
Subject and title
The piece is essentially a self-portrait. Scott created the image using a "template" of the 8-bit sprite character Mega Man from the old Nintendo games of the 1980s. He designed the character to look like himself.
Also, "Scooty" is one of Scott's nicknames.
